I have gained experience working in various roles within the Production Department on independent short films and student films.
Green Grass (2025)
I had the incredible opportunity to be runner on the BFI funded film Green Grass. The producer Makenna Guyler and director Aram Atkinson were dedicated to create awareness and opportunities for the D/deaf community with this film. Alongside the usual runner responsibilities, such as organising parking and making drinks for cast and crew, I helped the production designer Shivani Bhawnani, who has recently become a BAFTA winner with her film Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The Lace (2025)
The Lace is an independently funded short film made by award winning director Nicole Fry and produced by the production company Spiral Stare Productions. For this, I was production assistant, helping with on-set logistics and general production support.
Oxygen (2025)
I was the 1st assistant director for this student film about Kaya, a young girl battling the darkness of sexual abuse while striving to break free from her past. For one of the shoot days, we were filming underwater footage in a public swimming pool.
Afterlee (2025)
I was the 1st AD for Afterlee, a sci-fi drama about a girl, Lydia, visiting her recently passed grandma in the afterlife through a utopian public service. Two out of three shoot days were on an XR Stage, which meant I had to deal with a lot of new challenges to keep us on schedule.
Until Today (2024)
I helped out as Script Supervisor on this regency film with queer themes. It is having a successful film festival run and was available to watch on
Channel 4 for a year following the Iris Prize Festival.
