Here's my Showreel, with a focus on the work I've done within the Art Department.
Just Another Soldier (2024)
I was part of a group of four core students in charge of making this movie. I was involved in the production design, editing and colour grading. Alongside one of the other members of our crew, I designed and built a wooden barn set.
Until Today (2024)
I helped out as Art Department Assistant (uncredited) and Script Supervisor on this regency film with queer themes. It is having a successful film festival run and is currently available to watch on Channel 4.
Awake (2024)
I wrote and directed this film inspired by the poem "Lights Out" by Edward Thomas. Alongside my crew, I also did the production design, editing and colour grading.
Green Grass (2025)
I had the incredible opportunity to be runner on the BFI funded film Green Grass. The producer Makenna Guyler and director Aram Atkinson were dedicated to create awareness and opportunities for the D/deaf community with this film. Alongside the usual runner responsibilities, such as organising parking and making drinks for cast and crew, I helped the production designer Shivani Bhawnani, who has recently become a BAFTA winner with her film Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The Lace (2025)
The Lace is an independently funded short film by award winning director Nicole Fry. Produced by the production company Spiral Stare Productions. For this, I was production assistant and helped out with the production design on set.
Response Error (2025)
This was a no-budget film made for our universities 48 hour film challenge. As I often am a perfectionist when it comes to my films, I wanted to face the challenge of having to make a film in so little time, which meant not being able to make everything to my usual standard. We won the award for "best effects" for the robot we build from cardboard, a lamp, a mirror and a few other pieces.
The Nomad (2025)
This is another student film I worked on as a production designer. We built a tent-set in a studio and I was part of purchasing the props, set them up on the day and made the key prop - the witchcraft book.
Alma (2025)
Alma is my graduate film project that I am directing. The story is about an elderly woman, Alma, navigating her love life following the death of her wife. It is currently in post-production. Once finished, we will be submitting it to film festivals such as the iris prize.
Grass Pitch Documentary (2025)
In a small team, me and some colleagues are making a Documentary for Hampshire FA, for which I am the director and editor. This is currently in Post-Production.
Oxygen (2025)
I was the 1st assistant director for this student film about Kaya, a young girl battling the darkness of sexual abuse while striving to break free from her past. For one of the shoot days, we were filming underwater footage in a public swimming pool.
Afterlee (2025)
I was the 1st AD for Afterlee, a sci-fi drama about a girl, Lydia, visiting her recently passed grandma in the afterlife through a utopian public service. Two out of three shoot days were on an XR Stage, which meant I had to deal with a lot of new challenges to keep us on schedule.
